Anthony Santini Jr. was born and raised in nearby South Philadelphia and has considered himself a city guy all of his life. He first started in restaurants as a busboy at his grandfather’s social club. Anthony Sr. was a bartender at the same club and the reason Anthony Jr started in the industry. Anthony continued to work in restaurants through high school and fell in love with the industry. Anthony went to college at The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College and graduated with his Bachelor’s in hospitality. Anthony worked in a few restaurants in the city before finding his home at Bistro Romano in December of 2012. Anthony has been here ever since and calls the restaurant “his small slice of heaven.”
Anthony’s passion for food and beverage paired with his love of Bistro Romano and his guests makes for an over the top dining experience. On most nights you can find him walking the floor, lending a hand to his team members, making his homemade limoncello or just chatting with his guests.
If ever in the restaurant, please ask for him so that he can share a story two with you and welcome you to the family.
