Assistant General Manager
Bridgette Slater grew up in Montgomery County, PA where she started working in restaurants at a young age. After moving up in the business from a host to server, bartender, and eventually manager of a local restaurant group, she made the move to Philadelphia to continue growing as a hospitality professional. Bridgette found her passion in making guests feel welcome and sharing her knowledge and love of food with anyone who will listen. Additionally, she attended The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College for culinary training to further her understanding of restaurant operations. Bridgette is excited to continue her development in the restaurant industry with the team at Bistro Romano.
When not at work, Bridgette enjoys experiencing Philadelphia's vibrant live music scene and trying out new restaurants and bars in the area. She enjoys cooking and baking from scratch at home, and likes to experiment with new techniques and flavors that can translate to her work at the restaurant.
Bridgette looks forward to seeing you at Bistro Romano and please, let her know what she can do to make your experience even more special.
